Rapid and Rope Package – Cottonwood Family Float

We have teamed up with Captain Zipline Adventure Tours to offer you the experience of both water and air! We've combined our 1/4 day Cottonwood Family Float whitewater adventure along with a fun-filled Colorado aerial adventure course to provide a full day of adventure. The 1/4 day rafting excursion is a 5 mile trip with Class II-III rapids. This is an introductory trip for families with younger children or timid beginners. When you return, we'll grill a delicious lunch of either BBQ steak or chicken. Vegetarian meal options are also available. After scouting for Bighorn sheep and enjoying a leisurely lunch, you'll head over to Captain Zipline, which is 25 minutes from our rafting office off of US Hwy 50. The Canyon Aerial Course is built on 60-foot telephone poles to which wooden platforms at varying heights have been attached and connect to all kinds of obstacles. The combination of these challenges is tucked in the belly of the Lost Canyon and sits underneath some of the Park's zipline cables. There are 9 different courses within the complex, all coded similarly to the difficulty levels used at ski resorts. Minimum age is 8 years, minimum weight is 70 lbs, maximum weight is 250 lbs. For the Aerial Course, full body harnesses are used. These harnesses can accommodate a wider range of body shapes. Each participant must be able to reach 60 inches while standing flat-footed.
