We have partnered with Play Dirty ATV Tours to offer an exciting package consisting of a half-day Bighorn Sheep Canyon whitewater rafting trip and an ATV/UTV tour.
Your morning will be filled with adventure as you embark on a thrilling rafting journey down the Arkansas River's Bighorn Sheep Canyon, where you'll be mesmerized by the stunning scenery and class III whitewater. If you added on the lunch option we will provide you a deli-style lunch at our private riverside picnic area served by your guide. Keep an eye out for bighorn sheep, as they're often seen on our Cotopaxi cliffs.
Following the rafting adventure, you'll drive 7 miles down the road to the ATV outfitter, where you'll depart for the second part of your day. Get ready to explore mountain trails on an ATV or side-by-side vehicle, provided by Play Dirty ATV, the best Colorado Springs ATV rental service. Class II-III rapids
Rafting the Bighorn Sheep Canyon, you will navigate class III whitewater. This trip is exciting, but family-friendly rafting with 10 miles in length.
You will be on a guided tour, driving your own machine. This tour takes just over 2 hours and climbs up to the top of a mountain for a grand view of the Sangre De Cristo mountains.
This is a great way to spend a full day in the area if you are traveling from another town in Colorado.
We raft daily from the beginning of May through Labor Day weekend. The season can be extended if conditions permit.
We can fit 6 to 7 guests in a raft depending on the group’s size, plus your guide.
Transportation to and from the river, helmet, PFD/life jacket and splash jacket. A helmet, goggles and gloves are provided for the ATV portion.
After your morning rafting trip, you will drive yourself to Play Dirty ATV’s which is located 7 miles down the road.
It is recommended but not required. We take non-swimmers down this stretch on a normal basis.
