Day 1 - Launch beneath the dramatic Cotopaxi cliffs at our convenient riverside base through the Bighorn Sheep Canyon. Floating past spectacular geological formations and views of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range we run exciting Class II-III rapids like Texas Creek, Maytag, and Devilās Hole. After a delicious buffet lunch we plunge into more demanding and technical rapids (Class III-IV): Prelude, 3 Rocks Falls, Spikebuck and Sharkās Tooth to name a few. Sightings of bighorn sheep are very common in this section. After the day of rafting, we will shuttle you back to camp and you will be able to relax, swim or play games on your private campsite. Guides will then begin to prepare for your dinner and serve some o'dourves while you wait. After a delicious dinner, you will be able to connect with your group around a campfire and gaze at the stars.
Day 2 - Start with another warm meal served at camp prior to getting ready for the Browns Canyon National Monument. This section combines splendid Colorado white water rafting with spectacular views of the Sawatch Range containing some of Coloradoās highest peaks. We raft through fun Class III rapids such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, the Staircase and the infamous Seidelās Suckhole. This scenic canyon parallels the Brownās Canyon Wilderness Study Area and is now established as a National Monument. After your day of rafting you will have time to relax or play games around camp while you guides prepare your meal.
Day 3 ā After another hearty meal, get ready for Royal Gorge white water rafting, which is the ultimate full day rafting adventure trip in Colorado. Huge waves, steep technical drops, and almost continuous whitewater rapids in a narrow canyon await you with rapids like Sledgehammer, Wallslammer, the Narrows, Boateater and the infamous Sunshine Falls. The Royal Gorge may demand so much attention you donāt even notice the world famous Royal Gorge Bridge 1053ā² above the river. This exhilarating trip is recommended for rafters or adventurers in good physical shape who are ready for aggressive paddling. If you are seeking lots of excitement, this trip is for you and your group.
